Advanced Topics in the Genetics of Microorganisms

Topics of interest related to Microbial Genetics will be discussed. MICR 8580 - Graduate Seminar. One to three (1-3) credits. Includes attendance to all seminars presented by other members of the Department and the presentation of at least one one-hour seminar during the course of the semester. MICR 8590 - Teaching Practice. One (1) credit. Pre-requisite: MICR 8499. The student is expected to serve as an instructor in any laboratory session (at the undergraduate level) offered by the Department of Microbiology. The student will be under the direct supervision of one of the faculty members.
