Health: A Holistic Approach

Catalog description

Introduces the student to the concepts of Health and Public Health and to his professional role as a member of the interdisciplinary health team. Various fundamental processes utilized to study the health level in a community are examined. Several of Puert o Rico’s health problems, are discussed and the main given to health education, legislation and health alternatives for the promotion and maintenance of individual and collective health.
