Pre-requisites: HLAG 7111 This course is the second of a two -course sequence. The emphasis of these courses is to develop in the student the necessary skills to use different research methods and procedures, as well as, being able to critical analyze selected research documents. In this second course, the student is exposed to several aspects of research activity in communication sciences and disorders, including statistical and computer procedures for analyzing data, considerations in interpreting research results, and report writi ng. Multicultural and multilingual issues in the field of research are also discussed. As a requirement for this course the student will write a research proposal in groups of (2) students.
