Catalog description

This course corresponds to the block of the Drug, Health and Public Policy Seminar. The course develops the concept of health-disease in a progressive way. It analyzes the health environment and the natural history of diseases. It incorporates the study of epidemiological strategies, population aspects and vital statistics. The challenges and strategies of the intervention of the pharmacist in Public Health, with emphasis in health promotion and disease prevention are discussed. These contents will be devel oped with the ECA, problem posing and PBL strategies.
