Catalog description

This course introduces the student to the nurse -midwifery management process as the framework for providing primary care for essentially healthy women through the life cycle. Techniques of history taking, physical assessment and utilization of common scree ning tests are emphasized. Principles of health promotion, disease prevention and management techniques and therapies, including complementary therapies for the treatment of common health problems of essentially healthy women are included.
