Theories of Nursing Science

Catalog description

Pre-requisites: ENFE 8005. This course integrates hybrid modality to prepare doctoral students in the study of nursing theories, their historical evolution, philosophical underpinnings, and the epistemological contribution to the discipline. The course includes concept analysis, met hods, and application. Students will be encouraged to critically think towards the development, use, and evaluation of nursing theories in research and practice. Issues and future trends in the development of nursing theories are explored.
