Introduction to concepts of philosophy and science. Analysis of nursing philosophy, nursing science, and philosophy of nursing science. Study of philosophical traditions in nursing science. Review of selected philosophers that influenced science and knowledge development. Study of the epistemology, ontology, and ethics in nursing. Analysis of ways of knowing in nursing and development of knowledge. The course will be taught using hybrid modality.
