The course will allow the student to understand the significance of nursing informatics to advance the care of patients, communities, and populations, influencing the state of health and well -being of human beings. They will increase capabilities informat ic management, clinical information systems, and provision of evidence-based decision-making and in what way it changes the healthcare delivery systems. In addition, the standard of nursing informatic services, ethical-legal aspects, and policies related to the use of informatics technology in health systems. The uses conferences, simulation, discussion of readings, and others. The course may be offered in any of the following modalities: face-to-face, hybrid or online. ENFE 7257 – DNP Evidence-Based Practice Project I. Three (3) credit s. Pre-requisites: ENFE 7027 - Applied Biostatistics, ENFE 7029 – Evidence-Based Practice Principles , ENFE 7 251 - Advanced Principles of Anesthesia I In this course, students are required to identify a clinical, administrative, or academic situation for the development of a project based on scientific evidence under the supervision of faculty.
