Advanced Health Assessment

Catalog description

Pre-requisites: ENFE 7130 – Advanced Human Anatomy and Physiology The course provides students the opportunity to develop advanced knowledge and skills to perform a thorough health assessment of patients. Students practice collection of comprehensive health history, regional physical examination, preoperative assessment, and documentation of findings. The course uses interactive lectures, demonstrations, case study discussions, work group through media, and others. Simulated laboratory experiences are incorporated to enhance competency development. The course is face- to-face.
