Catalog description

This course provides for the analysis of current issues in nursing. The impact of trends and scientific findings in nursing and how these affect to professional practice is discussed. Current trends are considered in their effect to decisions and advancement of nursing. Diversity challenges are considered in their own interpretations and perspectives. Economic, social, political, cultural, legal, and ethical factors are analyze relative to its influence to health care and specifically nursing practice. E mphasis is given to the role that nurses can play in effecting change.
