Catalog description

In this course, the students discuss, carry out, interpret theoretical knowledge, and develop psychomotor skills related to physical assessment of the individual and family throughout the life cycle. They develop communication skills needed for health hist ory taking. Through the health history taking process, they develop critical analysis skills to identify the final differential diagnosis. They will have the opportunity to interact with clients in different clinical settings, especially in primary care areas. In addition, they will give emphasis to health promotion and preventive intervention including planning culturally sensitive care.
