Catalog description

Pre -requisites: ENFE 4147, ENFE 4120. This is a course with theoretical and clinical component of immersion in the community. It provides the opportunity to integrate previous knowledge to develop autonomy and leadership to intervene with individuals, families, groups and populations. Concepts of epidemiology, lifestyles, environment and genetic factors are applied to provide nursing care to the family and community. It emphasizes prevention, health promotion and lifestyles modification, using theoretical models and evidence -based nursing.
