Catalog description
This course is an in -depth study of the pathophysiology of disease. The students will analyze the basic concepts of pathophysiology and the consequences of pathologic processes on the structure and function of the human body. It provides the students expos ure to the concepts of pathophysiology, identification of acute and chronic diseases, as well as the treatment will be discussed. The content of this course will include the cell, genetics, mechanisms of self -defense, cellular proliferation: cancer, and al teration in organs and systems including multiple interacting systems.
