Integrative Experience in Health Promotion and Health Education

Pre - requisites: All public health care and specialty courses. Students will develop a small group-based ILE project to integrate Public Health Education specialty and MPH core competencies supervised by faculty. The activities of this online course may include group discussions, priority assessment exercises, virtual meetings, among others. Students are expected to submit a high-quality written product, such as policy statements, concept papers, evaluation reports, educational modules, among others, based on a priority topic for the field of Health Promotion/Health Ed ucation or a comparable unit within a selected organization. Students will determine with the Faculty Advisor how to deliver and/or disseminate their written product to community stakeholders. Also, will reflect on the ILE experience and its contribution to the achievement of competencies, and their professional development.
