Catalog description

This course intends to guide the students in the development of intervention strategies directed to promote the health of students, the teachers, the non -teaching personnel and the community in general. Through active learning, will analyze the strategies and the intervention models on individuals, group and community scale directed to promote the school health. Also, will analyze the intervention strategies used in different programs in Puerto Rico and other countries that have contributed to promote the i ntegral health of the students and the school community. At the end of the course the student will apply strategies and intervention models of health promotion to school community and/or environment.
