Catalog description

The course is designed to guide the students and the school community to the knowledge of risk factors associated to the use and abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in the school environment. Special emphasis will be offered to the analysis of patter ns of mental, social, economic and cultural conduct that prevent the use and abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and the physical impact, that causes its use. Also special emphasis in the development will be made of skills to implant and evaluate pro grams of prevention for the reduction of the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. At the end of the course, the students will develop skills to diminish the risk of use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
