Pre-requisites: EDSA 4003. This course offers the student the opportunity to develop the skills of planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion and health education programs with real populations based on the theories, models and effective practices in this field. Pr actice the analysis of the findings of social, epidemiological, behavioral and educational assessments and social determinants of health, to design interventions to improve the quality of life, daily living conditions and disparities in health care. EDSA 4013 Educational Process in Health Promotion and Health Education. Four (4) credits. Pre-requisites: EDSA 4011, EDSA 4012. In this course, primary importance is attached to the analysis of the central theme of health education: the educational process. Emphasis is given to the fact that health education is a fundamental element of health promotion. The educational process is analyzed in depth.
