Catalog description

Pre-requisites: DESS 8012. The third seminar has the goal of continuing provide students with the skills and tools necessary for research and practice on the social determinants of health. Also provides the students with a guided process that helps students toward the completion of their dissertation proposal. This seminar centers on the development of skills that foster multidisciplinary and multi-sectorial cooperation in the social determinants of health. It also serves as a guided process where students can star identifying stakeholders, institutions, organization and/or communities that can serve as partners and resources for the planning and coordination of their dissertation projects. At the end of course, students will be able to promote multidisciplinary and multi -sectorial cooperation in discussion, analyze and actions in social determinants of health.
