Catalog description

Pre-requisites: BIOE 6525, DEMO 6500, DEMO 6546, DEMO 6555, DEMO 6560, DEMO 6565. This course is a graduate course in which students will plan and develop the proposal of their research project in Demography under close supervision of at least one faculty member of the program. During the course, students will select their research theme, will present an annotated bibliography, will write the objectives of the research, and will submit the complete proposal in typewriting. They will make also an oral presentation of the proposal. The course will be offered as a workshop. Meetings and dis cussion will be held with the student in order to develop his/her proposal.
