Use of SPSS Program and other Scientific Research

Catalog description

Pre-requisite: BIOE 6525 (old codification BIOE 6521). Introduce students to programming and processing of data by means of SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). By using this program, students will learn to process data from their research, regardless of the concerned discipline. Besides, this c ourse will provide knowledge on concepts and language used in programming so that the researcher will be able to communicate effectively with experts in this area. Students will be also initiated in the use of the software SAS.
