Assistance to Families with Children with Special Needs

Catalog description

Pre-requisites: DDIT 6505, DDIT 6506. This course provides the students the fundamental knowledge in the area of family development with special emphasis on those families that have children with special needs. This course includes a perspective about the familiar ecological systems and the attention of the family as a nucleus. The course is directed to enable the professionals that works with families of children with developmental disabilities.
