Catalog description

This course offers Health Sciences students the opportunity to examine basic fundaments of Psychology, study areas, research methods and its implications, emphasizing the practical value in their professional fields. Students will develop concepts, skills and attitudes that foster the holistic understanding of the human being, in order to manage effectively their interaction with the persons they serve, as well as with the health team and themselves. The course was designed with the teaching general strateg y of Exploration, Conceptualization and Application (ECA) with the principal aim that students be able to apply acquired knowledge in the Health Sciences, especially in their area of preparation.
