Applications of Epi-Info

Catalog description

Pre-requisite: BIOE 6525. The course is designed for health professionals with interest in the analysis of epidemiologic data with the computer package Epi-Info. Themes to be covered include Creations of Questionnaires, Protection of Data Against Errors by Setting Up Ranges and Leg al Values, Data Entry and Statistical Analysis. The student is expected to develop the skills to create databases and analyze data derived from epidemiologic study designs using the computer package Epi-Info. The course will be offered as a workshop where each session features a discussion of theory and computer laboratory exercises.
