Clinical Practicum II

Catalog description

Pre-requisites: AUDI 7201. This is a second course in a sequence of six clinical practicum courses. The objective of the series of courses is to prepare the intern to become an autonomous professional in the field of Audiology. The interns will receive individualized instruction under direct supervision. The focus of this practicum experience will be to have the intern perform basic audiologic assessment procedures in consultation with the clinical preceptor. The intern will also be initiated in physiological procedures, special test s performance, hearing aid prescription and management. A minimum of 100 clinical contact hours are required to complete the course.
