Catalog description
The purpose of the course is to distinguish principles of leadership to public health practice. The students will evaluate leadership values and skills relevant to public health practice for performing in leadership positions and critically analyze leader ship applications in public health practice. It is expected that the students will maximize their leadership skills by a process of feedback, reflection, and practice. The course includes self -assessment exercises, role -play and group discussion exercise s among others. During the course, students will recognize one's own strengths and weaknesses in leadership skills relevant to public health practice and will create a personal leadership action plan.
