Catalog description
Pre -requisites: All the required courses for the master degree except ADSS 6597. The Applied Research Seminar is a practicum investigation, focusing on particular issues and situations impacting managerial decision making in health services organizations. Students work closely with a faculty member and the residency preceptor in formul ating and implementing the study. This course provides the students with the opportunity to apply the managerial skills obtained in previous courses to a research problem in their residency setting; In turn health organizations benefit from the outcomes of the research process.
