Pre-requisite: ADSS 6525. This course has the main purpose of providing the student with analytical tools of economic theory to better understand the economic forces shaping the health care sector. Emphasis is given to issues related to demand, and supply of health services cost co ntainment measures, the role of health insurance, provider reimbursement and theories regarding health care cost inflation.
