Pre-internship in Health Information Management (HIM)

Catalog description

Pre -requisites: Approved First Year courses. The student receives supervised clinical experience. It includes five weeks immersed in the assigned institution. It takes place during the summer session of the first year. At the conclusion of the session, the student will have used 187 hours (37.5 hours per week) of supervised practice, demonstrating the skills and progress to the faculty.
