Evaluation of Quality in Healthcare Organizations

Catalog description

This course emphasizes the study of different evaluation programs of health institution such as: Performance Improvement, Utilization and Risk Management, Care Environment, Medical Faculty, Committees and Credentials. Legal aspects of the assessment and application of appropriate statistical methods and tools for the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of results from evaluations of health care are also discussed. Application of knowledge acquired through the elaboration of a project asses sing the quality of service, is required.
