Catalog description

The course focuses on familiarizing students with the processes that allow the identification of the various types of evidence, its mechanisms of scientific validity to determine the conviction of the perpetrator in legal forums in the Puerto Rican and Federal Department of Justice. They will know what resources and protocols are used by the Institute of Forensic Sciences, the Puerto Rican Police Bureau, and the federal agencies to protect, collect, package, and identify the various types of evidence found at the crime scene.
