548 Undergraduate Catalogue 2026-2027 Study of the nanoscale and the perspective of nanotechnology, nanomaterials, and their properties. Fundamentals and practice of particle nucleation and growth. Analysis of conditions leading to particle stability and the formation of solid solutions at the micro- and nanosize scale. Fundamental and industrial applications such as ceramics, magnetic materials, semiconductors, ferroelectrics, optical materials, catalysts, pigments, and biological and medical devices. Study of nanotechnology and its relation with the environment.
