Catalog description

Discussion of the environmental, social, and economic impacts of materials along their life cycle from extraction to final disposal. Application of sustainable material selection principles, circular economy, and eco-design to engineering decisions. Analysis of the tradeoffs in material choices and evaluation of end-of-life management strategies, including recycling, reuse, and disposal. Applications of sustainability engineering principles to realworld materials science and engineering challenges.
