Catalog description

Two hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory per week. Study of organic farm management. Application of practices such as crop rotation, intercropping, fertilization, tillage, transplantation, and pest and disease control. Postharvest, marketing, and certification aspects will be studied. Field trips are required.
