Two hours of conference and one three-hour laboratory per week. Techniques of cartography and geodesy in map- making and surveying for the geosciences with an emphasis on EDM, laser-ranging, geodetic GPS surveying, and the generation of hypsometric data from airborne and satellite platforms. Examples of environmental, geological and natural hazard mitigation applications from the Caribbean.
