Catalog description

Introduction to the geologic history of planet Earth and the evolution of life through time. Students will acquire knowledge of geologic time, methods for determining relative and absolute age, principles of stratigraphy, origin of the universe, solar system, atmosphere, oceans, and life, plate tectonics, changes in the Earth's surface and organisms through geologic time.
