PRACTICUM FOR THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND LEARNING COMMUNICATION TEACHING

Catalog description

The course requires that teacher candidates lead the process of learning and teaching in a public or private, that they participate in school activities and attend seminars offered at the University of Puerto Rico. Through these experience teacher candidates are equipped with theories, practical techniques and methods to develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes that contribute to improvements in practicum. In addition, we discuss and analyze current topics in the field of study or situations that arise during their practicum. A university professor, a cooperating teacher and the school principal supervise the teacher candidate. The teacher candidate attends four hours daily to the school and three hours to the seminar at the university as schedule in the semester calendar.
