THEORY AND METHODOLOGY IN THE TEACHING OF BUSINESS AND OCCUPATIONAL SUBJECTS

Theoretical and practical approach to the teaching-learning process. All aspects related to the teaching of business and occupational subjects in secondary school are studied, such as: planning, educational innovations, curriculum analysis; basic content in the area of specialization, preparation, adaptation and use of resources; methodology, teaching techniques and strategy and fundamentals of measurement and evaluation. These contents are integrated into a practical base. All students must complete at least fifteen hours of laboratory experience in a public or private school. These experiences will contribute to the student's developing critical, dynamic, and creative attitudes towards the educational problems of Puerto Rico.
