Study of the fundamentals, principles, and basic issues related to curriculum planning and development for technical occupations. The curriculum is analyzed from philosophical, historical, psychological, sociological, and technological perspectives. The course includes curriculum models, domains, and applicable principles; it also addresses the human dimension of curriculum planning and the roles of the teacher, principal, coordinator, employer, student, community, and curriculum specialist. In addition, it considers the evaluation of current educational programs within the occupational education system, taking into account occupational demands and labor market trends.
