Development of beneficial exercises and activities for the elderly. EDFI 3395. ADAPTED PHYSICAL EDUCATION: EXCEPTIONALITY AND DISABILITIES. Three credit hours. Three hours of lecture per week. Principles, state and federal laws on special education applicable to adapted physical education. Nature and needs of exceptional students and those with disabilities, in the teaching of physical education from inclusion to other least restrictive environments. Adaptations include assistive technology. Field trips of at least 15 observation hours are required. As well as an assessment project.
