Work experience in the area of Animal Science, in a business enterprise or a state or federal government agency, under the supervision of a faculty member in coordination with an immediate supervisor at the internship location. CIAN 4997. SUPERVISED PROFESSIONAL OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE FOR COOP STUDENTS. From three to six credit hours. A maximum of two practice periods, one of which has to be in a semester. Practical experience in animal management and production and/or animal products in cooperation with the private sector or government. To be jointly supervised by the academic department, the Coop program coordinator and an official from the cooperating entity. A written report will be required upon completion of each work period.
