Catalog description

/three (3) weekly contact hours. Prerequi sites: PSIC 4025, PSIC 4026, PSIC 3116; Co -requisites: None. The purpose of this course is for students to learn the functions of the Central Nervous System and how they relate to leadership behaviors. They will analyze the scientific knowledge of neuroscience applied to leaders as individuals, team facilitators, and at the organizational level. Topics such as managing change, resilience, problem solving, and decision making at the individual and interpersonal levels will be discussed. They will know how the threat and reward circuits work and how to face these situations together with their employees as leaders. Finally, they will study how neuroscience helps leaders develop better communication, interpersonal relationships, creativity, and resilience.
