PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL CHANGES IN PUERTO RICO

Examination of the socio-cultural changes in Puerto Rican medium s een from the viewpoint of psychology. The basic interaction processes involved will be considered, relating them with learning, motivation and social perception, highlighting values, attitudes, expectations and the role of communication in social change. PSIC 3107: PSYCHOLOGY, ETHICS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF MORAL JUDGMENTS, three (3) credits, three (3) contact hours per week. Psychological and moral aspects, and ethical behavior are studies. The following topics are discussed: congruencies between judgments and actions, cognitive development and the concept of the law, respect, honor and authority.
