NURSING CARE OF THE PATI ENT IN CRITICAL STATUS III

Catalog description

Pre -requisite: ENFE 4107, 4108. This course focuses on the advanced care of critical clients with complex alterations in different systems. Advanced concepts of critical care will be explored recognizing the clinical significance to anticipate nursing and medical interventions. The concepts also include the technology used in the area of critical care such as hemodynamics control, ECG and heart rate, cardiac dysrhythmias, management of advanced areas, mechanical ventilation and ACLS. The management of the special population is also explored: obstetric, pediatric, elderly and trauma patients. This course must be passed with a minimum grade of C. This course will be offered in face -to-face, and hybrid modalities.
