Catalog description

Students are exposed to the basic concepts of human pathophysiology in adult deviation form health. Course content is based on physiological deviations, signs, symptoms, physical findings and laboratory results which result from disease. Students use this knowledge to formulate the nursing diagnosis. The course is designed in such a way as to allow students to integrate the knowledge obtained from other disciplines about the normal and pathological functioning of the organism.
