six (6) hours of laboratory per week. Co -requisite ENFE 1031, This laboratory is complemented with the theory included in ENFE 1031 -Nursing Intervention in Mental Health and Psychiatry. It allows students to apply the principle s of promotion, restoration and maintenance of mental health to individuals and groups in the three systems of care: partially compensatory, wholly compensatory and supportive-educative. Students recognize the most common client psycho-social deviations in the health-illness continuum. This is a first-level course for the Associate Degree in Nursing.
