Catalog description

three (3) lecture hours per week. Pre -requisite: EDFU 300-3002 and EDES 4006. Study and analysis of the aspects that affect learning that have been documented by empirical research in neurosciences and their application to education, with emphasis on findings on the relationship between neurosciences, neurocognition, neuropsychology, learning processes and education. It also introduces the study of the physiological bases of human behavior; the structure and functioning of the nervous system and its relationship with the psychological phenomena of sensation, perception, learning, thought, motivation and emotion that affect learning. This course can be offered in the face-to-face, hybrid or distance modality.
