Includes topics such as the study of a human cadaver and the biomechanical analysis of various body movements in activities related to Physical Education. Presents various reasons why a future Physical Education Teacher should know all the concepts of kine siology, identifies and the function of the principal muscles and muscle groups. Knowledge and understanding of osteology, myology, angiology, and neurosis involved in different physical activities and how they aid in the learning process. Mention, demonstrate, identifies, and applies the principles of physics involved in different physical exercises. EDFI 4165: ORGANIZATION, SUPERVISION AND ADMINISTRATION OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION; three (3) credits, three (3) contact hours. Introduction to the organization, supervision, administration, and legal implications in the development of the various phases of the Physical Education Program.
