Historical study of physical education from its origins to the present. Study and interpretation of the basic principles of physical education programs. EDFI 3595: BASKETBALL AND FOOTBALL; two (2) credits, three (3) contact hours per week. Emphasis is given to the grounded theory and practice of the sport of the game, offense, defense, and rules of the game.
