This lab-based course provides experiential learning in the application of maternal and newborn nursing concepts. Students develop proficiency in perinatal, postpartum, and newborn care through simulations and guided demonstrations, emphasizing Watson’s Caring Science and QSEN competencies of patient- centered care, safety, teamwork, and evidence-based practice.
