Medical/Surgical Caring Practical Nursing II

Catalog description

This course continues with the foundations of medical-surgical nursing for adults across the lifespan. Topics include anatomy and physiology, diagnostic assessments, and nursing interventions of all body systems. Students continue their understanding of their role as a practical nurse within the healthcare team. The concepts of Watson’s Caring Science and Human Caring Theory, as well as Quality and Safety in Education Nurses (QSEN), will be utilized throughout this course.
